Score: GAT Performance
Help
GAT Performance emphasizes the holes you play well. Higher scores are better; a GPS score around 18 is roughly bogey golf.
SMS Instructions
- Track GPS points after your round.
- Use
SCORE(orGPS) with the date, course, points, holes, and tee box:
Website Instructions
- Enter the course, date, GPS points, holes, and tee boxes.
- Select Save round to update your averages.
How GAT Performance Score works
GPS is another way to evaluate your game rather than straight total strokes. Higher points per round is better. Forget “blow-up” holes and make up for them on other holes.
Points per hole (sum for the holes you played):
- Eagles — 8
- Birdies — 5
- Pars — 3
- Bogeys — 1
- Double bogeys — ½ (only while your GPS is under 18)
“Bogey golf” is about 18 points (roughly a 90) and is pretty good for most golfers.
Averages (Lifetime, recent trend, per course):
GPS = 18 × (total points) ÷ (total holes)
Enter total points for the holes played.
Example: 10 points over 9 holes counts like 20 over 18 toward the average
(18 × 10 ÷ 9 = 20).
